Canary Islands expect a hot weekend, with 30ºC temps in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura

Aemet announced for this Saturday clear skies with cloudy intervals, during the early hours and end of the day, with probable calima in the afternoon in the eastern islands and moderately rising temperatures that may exceed 30ºC in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura the morning will start with clear skies with some cloudy intervals, with a possibility of calima in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures without changes or in a slight decrease, while the maximums will register a moderate rise, more pronounced in inland areas, where it will likely reach 30  - 32ºC.

In respect to Gran Canaria and Tenerife, there will also be clear skies with some cloudy intervals in the early morning, while in Gran Canaria there's a probability of haze in the afternoon, especially in the midland areas. Temperatures in slight to moderate rise, reaching 30 ºC in Gran Canaria.
