Elba Hotels, a prominent chain in the hospitality industry, has started the construction of a new 4-star hotel in Corralejo, Fuerteventura.

This marks the seventh establishment for the chain on the island, further solidifying its significant presence, particularly in Caleta de Fuste. The investment for this ambitious project is estimated to be approximately 100 million euros, according to sources at HOSTELTUR.

The groundwork for the future Elba Corralejo commenced in January of this year, while the estimated opening date is in 2026, specifically in June. Encompassing an impressive area of 60,000 square meters, the Elba Corralejo is slated to become the largest resort in the northern region of the island.

Set to be a luxurious 4-star accommodation, the hotel will boast a total of 478 rooms, including several Swim-up rooms and 15 Junior Suites. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at any of the seven restaurants and bars within the resort. Additionally, the property will feature an array of amenities, including 26 heated swimming pools, with 15 designated for private use in suites.

In addition to enhancing the tourism landscape of Fuerteventura, the development of Elba Corralejo is expected to generate approximately 400 direct job opportunities, along with an additional 500 jobs during the construction phase, thereby contributing significantly to the local economy.

With a portfolio of 16 operational establishments and over 3,054 rooms across Spain, Elba Hotels currently ranks 37th in the Hosteltur Ranking of major hotel chains with a presence in Spain. This latest endeavor underscores the chain's commitment to expanding its footprint and delivering unparalleled hospitality experiences to guests. As anticipation builds for the unveiling of Elba Corralejo, it stands poised to redefine luxury hospitality in the Canary Islands.
