Wondering what are the most beautiful nudist beaches in Lanzarote?

Just like the rest of Spain, Lanzarote has a liberal approach to nudity and there are many designated nudist beaches on the island, as well as in the Canary Islands archipelago as a whole.

Lanzarote generally has an accepting and open attitude toward nudism, making it a welcoming destination for naturists.

Here are some of the most popular nudist beaches in Lanzarote:

1. Playa Mujeres

Playa Mujeres - nudist beach in Lanzarote

Playa Mujeres is part of the Papagayo beaches, probably the most beautiful beaches in Lanzarote. These stunning, secluded beaches are situated in the south of Lanzarote and are known for their clear waters and natural beauty.

Although Playa Mujeres is a popular beach, you will also find a nudist area here, although especially during the summer months this beach will be crowded and full of families as well.

2. Playa Caleta del Congrio

Also located in the south of the island, Playa Caleta del Congrio is a clothing-optional beach in Lanzarote, very quiet and calm, ideal for enjoying a relaxing day of sunbathing and swimming.

Playa Caleta del Congrio is also part of the Papagayo beaches so you do need to pay the 3 Euro entrance fee to the natural park, but in our opinion, this is worth it since the place is beautiful, with golden sand and clear water, one of the best nudist beaches in Lanzarote.

3. Charco del Palo

Charco del Palo is a naturist village and a unique destination located on the northeastern coast of Lanzarote. It is a popular spot for nudists in Lanzarote and is known for its relaxed and clothing-optional atmosphere.

There are also two beautiful natural swimming pools in the area, which are also nudist-friendly: Piscina Natural Coloseo and Piscina Natural Charco del Palo.

Did you know that Charco del Palo in Lanzarote was actually the first entire nudist village in the world? The village was created in the '70s and nudism is allowed everywhere in the village, not just on the beaches or at the natural pools.

If you are a naturist or interested in experiencing a clothing-optional vacation, Charco del Palo in Lanzarote is one of the destinations in the Canary Islands where you can enjoy this lifestyle in a tranquil and scenic setting.
