Looking for naturist beaches on La Palma, Canary Islands?

The Canary Islands are a nudist-friendly destination with many naturist beaches across the archipelago.

Although La Palma is not the best island in the Canaries for those looking for many options for nudist-friendly beaches, it does have some areas that are popular among visitors and locals as well.

Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria are the best islands to visit if you're interested in naturism.

Best naturist beaches in La Palma

1. Las Monjas Beach (Los Llanos de Aridane)

Las Monjas beach, in Los Llanos de Aridane, located between Puerto Naos and Charco Verde, was the first and only nudist beach on La Palma, by plenary agreement in 1984.

Unfortunately, it has been unusable for several years due to landslides, which is why the General Directorate of Coasts proceeded to close it to the public.

2. Los Tarajales Beach (Tazacorte):

Tazacorte took advantage of the opportunity after the beach Las Monjas was closed and it opened a new nudist beach called Los Tarajales.

Nowadays Los Tarjales is the first large and official nudist beach in La Palma.

As an urban beach, it offers a wide range of services, including catering and accommodation.

The nudist area of the beach spans over 400 meters, formed by the expansion of the port.

Nearby, you'll find La Palma Sun Nudist, the island's first naturist accommodation.

3. Playa de los Guinchos (Breña Baja)

This beach has become more popular in recent times and it's a small cove with black sand and gravel, stretches just over 100 meters.

This beach is frequented by nudists and non-naturists as well, being located a few kilometers from the tourist resort of Los Cancajos and the island's capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma.
