The General Directorate of Emergencies, based on the prediction of AEMET has declared an alert due to coastal phenomena starting at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.
The combined sea swell, with waves of up to six meters, will be especially noticeable in the following areas: north and west of La Palma, El Hierro, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, as well as the north of Tenerife, La Gomera and Gran Canaria.
The weather forecast points to poor sea conditions with combined sea waves of four to six meters high. The rest of the coastline will not be affected by the alert.
