On May 30th 2018 the town of Puerto del Carmen will be celebrating the Day of the Canary Islands - Dia de Canarias. Here's the complete list of events in Puerto del Carmen for the month of May 2018:

    Canarian folk in the street, nearby the Tourist Information Office, Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen
  • From May 10th, between 10:00 and 18:00
    Traditional Canarian Handcrafts in the Tourist Information Office
  • Friday, May 18th at 20:30
    Canarian folk in the street, nearby the Tourist Information Office, Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen
  • Sunday, May 20th at 9:00
    Circular path interpreted and guided in Spanish and English from Tias to Montana Blanca.
    Medium Difficulty. Total lenght: 7 km
    Meeting point: At the church of San Antonia in Tias

  • May 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 32st from 18:00 to 19:30
    Workshop and exhibition of Lucha Canaria (Typical Canarian Wrestling). In the playground of Playa Grande, Puerto del Carmen.

    Lucha Canarias - Canary Islands Day Trophy at Terrero de Lucha Ulpiano Rodriguez Perez, Tias
  • Wednesday, May 30th at 12:00
    National Day of the Canary Islands - Canary Islands Folklore Music with the band Timple

3rd Festival of Traditional Music of Puerto del Carmen - La Tinosa

  • Saturday, June 2nd
    at 20:00 - Folklore group El Pavon
    at 21:30 - Taburiente in Concert
  • Sunday, June 3rd from 11:00
    Music with the following groups: Guerma, Gaida, Malpais de la Corona, Grupo de Tetir de Fuerteventura, El Golpito

The event will also include a play area for kids, local food, local wine and much more.
