Los Cristianos event this November: Festival de Jazz de Arona 2023
Arona Jazz Festival will be celebrated this year on the 24th and 25th of November in Los Cristianos, with two days of good jazz and musicians from different geographical origins.
The concerts, two each day, will begin at 9:00 p.m. and will have an estimated duration of 55 minutes each. The festival is sponsored by Bahía Beach Palmmar and in collaboration with Wolves Jazz & Arts and Jaleo Press Comunicación.
The festival will start on Friday the 24th with the Jason Luis Project (with Jason Luis, Moisés García and Sergio Díaz) and, afterward, a Tribute to Bill Evans will take place, led by Alberto Medina, Tara Santana and David Xirgu. That night of jazz will sound to the rhythm of lute, bass and drums in the first case, and piano, double bass and drums in the second.
The first performance on Saturday the 25th will be given by Gino Marcelli & Lloreda Dúo, with piano and guitar. To close the night and the festival, the jazz fusion trio of Tenerife origin A Fes Colors (made up of Eliseo Lloreda, Feliu Morales and Pedro Marcos) will perform, with guitar, electric bass and drums.
Harmonic improvisation, modern treatment of classical instruments such as the lute, beautiful melodic constructions such as those of the “piano poet” Bill Evans, and moments for silence and enjoyment with artists of different influences, will be some of the ingredients that can be enjoyed during this festival.
