Cabildo de Fuerteventura, through the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, makes available to the public the entry tickets for visits to the Sea Turtle Recovery and Conservation Center, located in the port of Morro Jable, starting next 15 of June.

How to get tickets

Tickets can be requested for free online one week in advance and up to the day of the visit.

The schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., every half hour and with an approximate duration of 20 minutes per visit

Tickets can be reserved free of charge through the website http://www.cabildofuer.es/cabildo/areas-tematicas/medio-ambiente/ and can be obtained one week in advance and if there are places available the same day of the visit.

This space currently has turtles born on Cofete Beach, within the project "Expansion of the reproductive habitat of the loggerhead turtle ( Caretta caretta ) in Macaronesia", and specimens of rescued turtles that are in recovery.

For the safety of people and turtles, please follow a series of rules of conduct, such as: not touching the turtles, or their tanks, speaking in a low tone, entering the center without food, using cameras without flash, or not exceeding the limits of the tanks with objects or body parts.

Visits are possible on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with an approximate duration of 20 minutes. The Center reserves the right to admit and close the establishment for management reasons, without prior notice, regretting the inconvenience that these decisions may cause.

These visits are part of the Education and Environmental Awareness program of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and try to bring closer and publicize the work carried out by this Ministry to the Majorera society and the general public.
