The long-awaited moment for many Lanzarote residents and visitors alike is almost here, with less than two days left until the opening of the Primark store in Lanzarote's capital, Arrecife.

Primark will open a new store on June 22nd in the Open Mall in Arrecife, on the island of Lanzarote, launching this way its 58th store in Spain.

Teguise is considered the oldest town in the Canary Islands, dating back to the XVIIIth century. La Villa de Teguise as it is locally known, used to be the capital of Lanzarote for over 450 years, up until 1852 when Arrecife became the new capital city.
