In 2024, "Las Burras" at the carnival in Guimar will be celebrated on 16 February.
The celebration of 'Las Burras' is the most important event of the Guimar's Carnival.
Las Burras constitutes a mix of local legends and traditions that the young people in town started celebrating again after a long time. Hundreds of neighbors take part in this traditional event which constitutes an impressive scenic recreation of a battle between good and evil that envelops the public with its special effects and overflowing imagination.
