Aemet (The State Meteorological Agency) has announced that starting next Monday, March 14, the chances of rain in the Canary Islands will increase due to a low-pressure system located to the west and southwest of the Peninsula.
The rain would be more prevalent in the north of the islands, especially the mountainous islands of the archipelago, however, the forecast can still change considerably until next week.
Thursday forecast
In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura the sky will be slightly cloudy, while in the north of the other islands there will be a low probability of light and occasional rains in the morning, while in the south the weather will be cloudy in general. Temperatures will not fluctuate.
Friday forecast
Skies will generally remain slightly cloudy, while high clouds are expected in the afternoon.
The minimum temperatures will tend to drop slightly and the maximum temperatures may rise slightly.
