According to Aemet, the Canary Islands are experiencing an episode of unusually high temperatures these days, given that it's late October and these temperatures would be more common for months like August.
The daytime temperatures these days are higher than it's usual for this time of the year, based on the El EFI (Extreme Forecast Index), which compares the current data with what it's common for a certain time period, and the current temperatures are higher than usual.

The sky will be slightly cloudy or with intervals of high clouds.
Presence of light haze, that will affect mainly the southern half of the eastern islands and high altitudes in the western province.
Temperatures will be on the rise, more pronounced in eastern and southern coastal areas, reaching 30ºC in some parts of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and also possible for some parts of southern and western midlands of Gran Canaria.
Saturday forecast - October 29
Possible cloudy skies in the morning and late evening, with light haze, mainly affecting the southern half of the eastern islands, where it will be somewhat more significant, especially in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and at high altitudes in the western province.
Temperatures will be unusually high for late autumn, reaching up to 30ºC in some areas in the south and east of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Northeast wind throughout the day, more intense on the southeast and northwest coasts of the mountainous islands, while in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura it will be less intense.
